JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort, known as Ski Jam Katsuyama until it rebranded on 1 April 2026, is Fukui's flagship resort and one of the largest in western Japan. Six lifts serve 16 courses counting the four tree-run areas, dropping 710 metres from 1,320m to 610m, and the longest run measures 5.8km.

The base area has its own onsen, Hoonji Onsen Sasayuri, and the on-site hotel reopened as JAM Fukui Katsuyama TOKYU HOTEL & Resorts in the same rebrand. Most visitors drive, roughly three hours from Osaka and 20 minutes from Katsuyama IC; by rail, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Fukui Station and the resort shuttle.
