Sun Alpina Kashimayari lies at the southern end of the Hakuba valley in Omachi, Nagano, below the peak of Kashimayari in the Northern Japan Alps. It has 22 courses and a vertical drop of about 720 metres, with long cruising runs and views over Lake Aoki and the Alps. Quieter than the main Hakuba resorts, it is popular with families and intermediate skiers.
