Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort

Hakuba Iwatake sits on a free-standing mountain in the middle of the Hakuba valley, giving it 360-degree views of the Northern Japan Alps that the valley's other resorts cannot match. It has 15 courses and a vertical drop of about 539 metres, with terrain for all levels. In recent years it has become as well known for its green-season attractions, including the Iwatake Mountain Harbor viewing deck and mountain biking, as for its winter skiing.
