Hirugano Kogen is a family-friendly ski area on the Hirugano highland of Gujo in northern Gifu, near the larger Takasu resorts. It sits high enough for reliable snow and has gentle, wide runs, an easy stop for skiers heading up the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway from Nagoya.
