Hoshino Resorts Nekoma Ski Area

Nekoma sits on the north side of the Bandai massif in Fukushima and is prized for holding dry, high-quality snow thanks to its north-facing aspect. Run by Hoshino Resorts, it has 13 courses and a vertical drop of about 311 metres, and it is now linked over the ridge with the same operator's larger Alts Bandai area, so a single ticket reaches both the sunny south and the snowy north side of the mountain.
