About This Resort

Gokurakuzaka is one half of the Tateyama Awasunodaira ski area in the mountains of Toyama, on the Tateyama side of the Northern Alps. It has 11 courses and a vertical drop of around 708 metres, and links with the neighbouring Awasunodaira area for a larger day out. Deep snow and a local, uncrowded feel are the draw.
