Frequently Asked Questions

How does Osaka Kings compare to Kobe Kings?

Both are run by the same Kings group and offer the same kicker-to-air-bag concept, but Osaka Kings is more central for riders coming from inside Osaka or from Kyoto/Nara, while Kobe Kings is the better fit if you're combining a session with Hyogo-area training or a Kobe city visit. Equipment, coaching format and session structure are essentially identical. Some seasoned riders alternate between the two depending on which day's slot opens up first.

Do I need to bring my own gear to Osaka Kings?

Recommended, not strictly required. Most regular freestyle riders bring their own twin-tip skis or freestyle snowboards because fit and stiffness matter when you're rotating. The facility does rent equipment for beginners and first-timers (skis/snowboard, boots, helmet, knee/elbow protection). Reserve rental gear when you book the session — walk-up rental availability is unreliable. Closed-toe athletic shoes and long sleeves/trousers required regardless of rental.
