About This Resort

Zao Liza is a ski area on the Yamagata side of the Zao mountains, on the flanks of Mount Byobu near the Zao Onsen area. It has 6 courses and a vertical drop of about 386 metres, with wide open runs high on the mountain and views over the Yamagata basin, and it shares in Zao's heavy, reliable snowfall.
